We have started by doing the reno's on the top floor. There were four very square, very same size bedrooms. We have left one the way it was originally, and its going to be a guest room. The walls were plaster and lath, so it took forever to make them smooth. Right now its the room we are sleeping in. The other three were turned into a really large master bedroom, and a bathroom. We decided to insulate the walls better, so we have added 2x4's around the perimiter, and put insulation in there. Of course Frank has the wireing done better than you can imagine, with plugs and tv or phone cable outlets everywhere! As of Mid Feb we are about to put gyprock up, and then it will be feeling much nearer completion.
